The Yavapai Fair Youth Livestock Logo & Motto is

"Respect, Responsibility, Resiliency - Opening Door to the Future".

This came from a key note speech given by the head of FFA of the State of Texas, with this amazing message on the impact that youth livestock has on successful youth transforming to adults.  We could not help but grab this message and take it on as the Logo & Motto for Yavapai County Youth Livestock.

Youth Livestock Sponsorship & Scholarship

As you have seen there is a commission that was held from the auction sales.  In most youth livestock auctions this commission is used for administrative cost.  HOWEVER, the Yavapai County Fair board of directors has held these commission amounts for a Youth Livestock & Agriculture Sponsorship and Scholarship Fund!  YES, it is given back to the youth in our County!  What is this fund?  This is a fund that you can request a scholarship or sponsorship to help you in a youth livestock and or agricultural project.  The main goal of this fund, is to help grow youth livestock and agriculture in Yavapai County.  How you ask?  It is help to purchase equipment for a future project (i.e. stands, clippers, blowers), maybe a scholarship to a livestock camp, or even help in starting a project.  Keep in mind, the sky is the limit if the request can help build and grow youth livestock in Yavapai County.

This year the auction commission gave this fund over $4000.00.  We look forward to seeing this fund grow even more over time.
